Percy is a male Northern Cardinal, and he may as well have been called Perky Percy. Those crown feathers standing straight up give him an eager, alert look, like he's always ready for whatever's next. One fun fact I love about cardinals is that they mate for life, and during courtship the male will actually feed his mate seed beak to beak. 💖
