My ultimate goal is for my customers to be thrilled with their purchases! In order to ensure this outcome, please take a moment to read through the store policies outlines in the FAQs below:

 

Returns/Exchanges

Do you accept returns?

Yes! If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it. Returned/Exchanged items must be in their original, like-new condition and returned in the original packaging. Stained, torn, or damaged items will not be eligible for return or exchange. There is NO restocking fee, however shipping fees are non-refundable.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping charges for both returns and exchanges.

GENERAL INFORMATION

How are items packaged?

Fine art prints a placed in a protective poly sleeve with a sturdy piece of matboard to prevent bending. They are shipped in rigid document mailers to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. The exception to this are 16"x20" prints, which are placed in a protective sleeve and gently rolled to fit in a cardboard mailing tube.
Stationery orders are packaged in a clear presentation box and mailed in protective cardboard box.

What if my item is a gift?

If you make a note on your order that you are sending a gift, I will include an invoice that doesn't show the purchased price. Additionally, I will add a satin bow and include a gift tag with your name and the recipient's name upon request

Unfortunately, this service is not available for 16" x 20" prints.

Where are your items made?

All of my items are made in the U.S.A. Fine art prints and note cards are created in my studio in Charlotte, NC.


SHIPPING

How much is shipping?

Any purchase $35+ includes complimentary economy shipping within the contiguous Unites States (yay!).

Please note, there is no insurance offered for packages mailed with economy (USPS Ground/|USPS First Class). Should you wish to insure your package, please select from the expedited shipping options.

For orders under $35, you may choose from USPS First Class, USPS Priority, and UPSP Priority Express. Cost depends on the items ordered and the delivery zip code.

Do you offer RUSH shipping?

Most orders within the USA arrive within seven business days with Economy shipping (USPS First Class) but there is no guarantee of a specific arrival date. If you need your items by a certain date or wish to insure them, please select one of the following options and include a note about the need-by date at check out. 
  • Priority Mail: Arrives 2-3 business days and includes up to $100 in insurance. During the holidays, priority is recommended (November - December). If you need additional insurance, please send me a message prior to finalizing you purchase.
  • Priority Express Mail: Arrives 1-2 business days guaranteed and includes up to $100 in insurance. If you need additional insurance, please send me a message prior to finalizing you purchase.

How long before my items arrive?

All items are prepared for shipping within 1-2 business days sent through USPS. With Economy shipping, packages generally arrive within 5-7 days of the order being placed. This timeframe will be increase during the Holiday Season (December). 
Delivery time for international orders varies. See below for a table of estimated shipping times by location.
  • Europe: 2-4 weeks
  • Australia, Japan, and New Zealand: 2-5 weeks
I do my best to meet these shipping estimates but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.

Important Information on International Orders 
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Often, UK and European customers are required to pay VAT, customs and/or duty taxes to collect their packages. Vanessa Thorman Studio does not pay these taxes for the customer, and is not responsible for delays due to customs.

What if my package doesn't arrive?

If your package is tracked and shows it was delivered, your item(s) will not be replaced. If have concerns about your package reaching you, consider purchasing USPS Priority Express. Replacement of items or refunds for insured packages lost in transit (shipped via USPS Priority Express only) will take place once a claim has been filed with USPS.

In order to avoid additional shipping fees in case your order is returned to sender, please make sure your shipping address is accurate and verified through USPS upon checkout. Buyers will be liable for shipping charges, additional shipping charges, or replacing items that are incorrectly delivered or undelivered because of an incorrect or undeliverable address entered at the time the order was placed.

If you're sending a purchase directly to a recipient, please make sure the address is correct before finalizing your order. If your order is returned to me and needs to be reshipped due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, additional shipping fees will apply.
