Commissions

 The commission process all starts with your idea—what would you like to have painted? Our homes and lives are enhanced by what we look at and surround ourselves with—I would be honored to create a piece for you or someone you love.

Regarding commissions, please note the following:

• Everything will be in my specific style. Please browse the website to see my latest pieces and see if my artistic vision is a good fit for yours.
•  The most successful commissions start with a great photo.  High resolution, quality reference photos are needed to ensure the likeness of the image. 
• I use the highest quality supplies so that your painting is archival and created to last generations (with proper care and framing materials).
• Paintings come unframed, but I am more than happy to offer advice on suitable frames and sources for where to get affordable custom framing. 

The prices below are estimates and do not include framing/matting materials. Prices will increase depending on the complexity of the subject (background, accessories [bridles], etc.). 

• 8x8 and 8x10 ~ $425 (small birds or bird portraits [head] only)
• 9x12 ~ $525
• 12x12 and 11x14 ~$675
• 12x16 ~ $775
• 16x20 ~ $925
• 18x24 ~$1,100
• 22x30 ~ $1,300

The timeline for completing a commission depends on the size and complexity of the piece as well as the number of commissions already in the queue.  The whole process takes at least 6 weeks, up to 3 months. If you have a deadline you wish to have the painting completed by, please let me know and we will work on a timeline together. 

 Fill out the form below with any other details (such as orientation, colors, other paintings you love, etc.) to get our conversation rolling! Once we agree on the specifics, I will send you an invoice for 50% of the painting price to hold your spot. Payment options include cash, credit card, Venmo, or Zelle. Once I receive the payment, the actual process begins. Once the piece is finished, I’ll send a final photo and the remaining invoice. After final payment, your painting will be hand-delivered or shipped safely and securely to you!
