Vanessa Magdaleno Thorman is a Southern California native who currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fueled by a profound love for animals, her artwork aims to create an immersive experience where the subject is not merely observed but genuinely seen, fostering a shared moment of recognition and understanding. Her incredibly detailed watercolor artwork serves as a heartfelt tribute to their presence in her life.
Vanessa works with regional and national bird and wildlife conservation organizations by donating original artwork, prints as well as a percentage of each sale to help support their efforts. Most recently, she has partnered with The Audubon Society, The Carolina Raptor Center, and the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.
